How to bottle a run?

Have you ever gone out for a run and felt so good you just wish you could bottle that feeling and use it over and over again? Maybe that would take all the fun out of running - all the mystery on how your route is going to be, how your body is going to react, how the weather conditions will be - but I sure do wish I could dial up some runs and use them over and over again.

My training is a little messed up this week because of my deep tissue massage and my general laziness, but today I went for a 10 miler at about a 7:30 pace (50 seconds slower than marathon pace) and I felt awesome the whole run - the weather was perfect, my legs felt better today than they have in weeks and overall the run was just plain fun. Maybe I was juiced from the movie last night, maybe my laziness paid of with some extra rest and maybe the deep tissue massacre really helped! Who knows what it was, but if I could bottle today up and unleash it on marathon day i think it will be a fine day!

Tomorrow we are off for 15 miles with half at race pace and then a group meeting with our No Boundaries crew - a little over 2 weeks to marathon day!
