Training week in review

another week down and only 5 weeks to go until the race. this week was made up of long runs, recovery medium distance runs and shorter runs with some added speed work.

overall miles for the week = 70+ two runs over 20 miles and soem 800 repeats to get the legs stretched out some.

it is funny how running goes - some days you have it - other days you do not. Monday was an awful day of running - ran 18 (of 22) in Wekiva Park and tehn had to take a break and rest before tackling another 5 onn the roads around the house. Not sure what went wrong with the run but there was no way I was going to finish that sucker on that day. Yesterday was a great day - 26.5 in about 3:30:00 - nice, easy, and controled - felt great. The weather was awesome yesterday - low 60s and overcast - I am sure that had something to do with it.

this week willl be another high 60 or low 70 miles.
