So the Heisman Trophy finalists have been announced and they are:
Sam Bradford from Oklahoma, Colt McCoy from Texas and Tim Tebow from Florida - one question - what the heck happened to Graham Harrell from Texas Tech?
There is no way Graham Harrell would have won, but to not make him a finalist is just stupid. The guy threw for more yards per game than the other 3 and had the second most TDs of all of them.
So...who should win? Here is my opinion - Bradford - he is on the number one ranked team in the country - he did lose to Texas but beat Texas Tech (killed them) after TX Tech beat Texas - they scored 60+ in their last several games (allot of junk points in the 4th quarter but they did it) and his numbers are better than the others. I think it should be - Bradford, McCoy, Harrell (who is being left out) and Tebow (as much as I would love to see him win it two years in a row he just does not deserve it).
Yards per game - Bradford - 343, McCoy 287, Tebow 193
Pass TDs - Bradford 48, McCoy 32, Tebow 28
Efficiency Rating - Bradford 186, McCoy 179, Tebow 176
All you Tebow fans are now saying... what about all the rushing Tebow does -
Rush Yards - McCoy 576, Tebow 564
Rush TDs - Tebow 12, McCoy 10
McCoy had a completion percentage of 77.6 - new all time best in College Football.
These are my opinions, let me know yours.
