AI night

I heard that tonight on AI is Dolly Parton night - sing DP's greatest hits and I thought and thought and came up with one Dolly Parton song - 9 to 5 - and that was a classic! I think she sang a couple of ballads with Kenny Rogers - but I could not name one if you were paying me.

After some research I saw that DP had 20+ albums, most before these contestants were born, but I am sure they are very popular and well known by all the contestants.

Here are some songs I would like to hear - Potential New Boyfriend (David A could sing this one - he is looking for a prom date right), In The Ghetto (really Dolly - this is a country song), Mule Skinner Blues (David C could do the acoustic version of this one - or Brooke could play it on the piano), White Limozeen (love the use of the "Z" - Dolly is so mainstream - maybe Dr. Dreads could do the hippy version)

I did find some cover tunes Dolly sang - not sure if the contestants are allowed to sing Dolly doing a cover but here would be some good ones - Great Balls of Fire or House of the Rising Sun or the best yet - Peace Train.

Can't wait to hear tonight - might be as bad as Beatles Night II
