Mandy competed in the National Championships this weekend and had an excellent result that will qualify her for the USAT World Championships in the Olympic Distance Tri.
Mandy is a member of the Epic Challenge which is coached by Team Hendryx - the Epic Challenge athletes are training to compete in the 1/2 Iron distance race in Clermont in October.
Mandy qualified for the National Championships earlier in the year when she won her age group at a local race. She traveled to Portland, OR this past weekend to compete in the National Championships. She placed 10th overall among the women and 4th in her age group. The top 10 in each age group earn a slot for the USAT World Championships.
The Team Hendryx coaches congratulate Mandy on a great race. We look forward to her having a good race in Clermont in a month.
